Tomato Sauce without vinegar

Ingredients 

• 3.6kg ripe tomatoes 

• 1.4kg sugar 

• ½ kg onions 

• 2 tablespoons salt 

• 1 tablespoon pepper 

• 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 

• 2 tablespoons cloves 

 Method 

Boil all ingredients together for 3 hours, strain through a colander and bottle. Cork seal when cold.
