Ingredients
• 2 cups SR Flour
• 1 tablespoon shortening
• 60g bacon rashers
• 1 onion
• 1 dessertspoon chopped parsley
• 1 teaspoon curry powder
• Pinch cayenne
• Salt
• ¾ cup liquid
Method
Chop bacon and onion and cook in a little water. When tender pour water into a cup and make up to ¾ cup with milk. Sift flour, curry powder, cayenne pepper and salt. Rub in shortening. Add liquid, bacon etc and make into a soft dough. Press into a ¾ inch thick dough and cut into scones. Cook in a hot oven for 12 minutes
