Ingredients
• 65g butter
• ¼ cup sugar
• 1 egg • ¾ cup milk
• 2 level teaspoons mixed spice
• ½ cup chopped nuts
• ½ cup chopped raisins
• 2 cups SR flour
Method
Mix butter and sugar to a cream. Add egg then alternately add a little milk, a little flour and a little fruit and nuts until all gone. Bake ½ hour in a moderate oven.
