Green Tomato Mustard Pickle

Ingredients 

• 2.7kg green tomatoes 

• 900g onions 

• 900g beans and cauliflower 

• 2 ¼ cups sugar 

• 8 cups (1.9 litres) vinegar 

• 1 teaspoon cloves 

• 1 teaspoon peppercorns 

• ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper 

• 1 small cup salt 

• 2 tablespoons mustard 

• 1 tablespoon turmeric 

 Method 

Cut up ingredients and boil together for 25 minutes. Thicken with 4 tablespoons flour.
