Ingredients
• ½ cup butter
• 1 ½ cups stewed apples
• 2 cups SR flour
• ½ teaspoon all spice
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 3 dessertspoons cocoa
• ½ teaspoon grated nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon salt
Method
Cream butter and sugar. Add warm apple with the soda added. Fold in sifted flour and spices etc. Pour into tin and bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes.
