Ingredients
• ½ cup sugar
• 125g butter
• 1 ½ tablespoons honey or golden syrup
• 4 cups rice bubbles or corn flakes
• ½ cup coconut
Method
Boil the sugar, butter and honey/golden syrup together for 5 minutes. Add to the rice bubbles/cornflakes and coconut and mix well. Press into tin and refrigerate until set.
This variation is the one the family knows and remembers Gran baking the most – a BIG FAVOURITE - I found it in the back row of her Tara Tucker Book.

• 3 cups crushed cornflakes
• 1 cup mixed fruit (MIXED FRUIT MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER)
• ¼ cup coconut
Method
Boil together for 5 minutes the sugar, butter and honey or golden syrup. Add the cornflakes, mixed fruit and coconut. Press into a lined baking tray and refrigerate until set.
