Ingredients
• 125g butter
• ¾ cup sugar
• 2 cups plain flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• Pinch of salt
• 3 eggs
• ½ cup milk
• Vanilla essence
Method
Soften butter and beat in sugar. Add eggs one at a time and then the vanilla essence. Sift together flour and baking powder and salt and fold in alternately with milk. Bake in a moderate oven 45 minutes.
