Ingredients

• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 ½ cups plain flour
• ½ level teaspoon salt
• 2 cups currants
• 2 cups sultanas
• 2 cups raisins
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ½ cup candied peel
• ½ cup almonds
• ½ cup cherries
• ½ cup figs
• 4 eggs
• 4 tablespoons sherry
• 1 level tablespoon of spice and cinnamon

Beat butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour and other ingredients. Bake until cooked
